A guide to good Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) tips By: Craig Bucknall

Getting your website listed in Search Engines (SE) can sometime be a
monumental task in itself, here are my top ten tips to get you started.

1. Page Title
Forget using 'Welcome to my website' as your page title, if you really
want to attract target media specify your keywords and list your
product keywords separated by an | (hold Shift + backslash key) symbol
(eg: Digital Cameras | Video Cameras) will boost the strength of your
chosen keywords, in this case Digital and Video Cameras.

2. Page Filenames
Still naming your page filenames as products.htm or aboutus.php, why
not add some weight to your website and help the SE distinguish from
the multitude of pages with generic names and again utilise your
keywords into your filenames (eg: paper_back_novels.htm) for a Book
selling site with this link to the list of Paper Back Novels.

3. ALT Tags
Again keywords play a huge part in the design of your site and another area to include these words is in your image 'ALT" tags.

4. Header Tags
Getting back to your Page Title, there is no point in making the
heading text "Welcome to my Website" especially if you are selling
Garden Tools. Using , and tags to emphasize your Products and Services
in order of importance, lets the SE's.

5. Bold Text
Got something to say?, say it in Bold Text, this tells the SE that this
text is important and relates strongly to your content and keywords and
should be taken notice of.

6. Keywords
Some say they aren't that important anymore to getting results in the
SERPS (Search Engine Result Pages) but using them correctly can add to
your sites overall effectiveness. Concentrate on 3 - 4 keyword phrases
(eg: "custom website design" or "web site design" for web site
designers) and make sure they are used in the first and last paragraphs
of your home page content.

7. Google Toolbar
Not only a search tool the Google Toolbar displays each sites Page Rank according to Google on it popularity and web presence.

8. Alexa Toolbar
Download the Alexa Toolbar from Amazon and sign up to their affiliate
program, the toolbar is an essential tool in gauging the popularity and
hit results of how your website ranks in the www..

9. RSS Feeds
Want to increase traffic? well consider starting a RSS Feed on your
website with important news items relating to your business and your
chosen profession then link these to your articles.

10. Article Writing
Article writing is another way to cross promote your site with helpful information for others and with links back to your site.

In conclusion
There are many facets to Search Engine Optimisation of websites and
these 10 tips are merely just a few and a good starting point to get
your website promoted in the www.
Description tag:
Major search engines that support
Meta tags will usually depict the description tag with the title in the
results. Search engines many times hold entire Meta tag of the
description field. The webmasters should keep in mind that that the
description tags must be short to grab the attention of a user.
<META NAME="description" CONTENT="Your description">

Keyword:
You should research deeply before
finalizing keywords, as it is the most important factor in website
optimization. Each keyword's weight, rate, size, status and proximity
all have an effect on the ranking. You should optimize all these key

example follow this link:
http://www.adidas.com/in/performance/sitemap.asp

Publish articles and newsletter/press releases:
Writing and publishing is one of the best ways of marketing your
website on internet. It helps to generate substantial traffics to your
website. You can submit articles to e-zines, article directories, web
sites and magazines that offer article submissions. Don't forget to
include your business information and contact address at the bottom of
the article.

Article Directories
www.shvoong.com, goarticles.com, www.uniterra.com,
www.allfreelancework.com, ezinearticles.com etc. Use keyword 'article
submission' in your search.

Press release sites
www.pressbox.co.uk etc. Use keyword 'free press release distribution'

important for the search engine crawlers, creating links to other sites
with yours. It makes your website worthwhile for the search engines.
The more links at website the more significant website is considered,
and will be rewarded with higher page ranks.

However, not all links are considered valuable by the search engines.
The search engine will consider links more valuable if they are from
sites that are having higher page ranks and also offers similar area of
interest as your website.

Use keyword 'free link exchange' in your search.

Submit Website to search Engines:
After optimizing
you web site, its time to submit it to all major search engines such as
Google, Yahoo, MSN etc, after all for this only you have optimized your
web site. There are many web-sites that provide manual free submission
to almost all the main search engine. Use keyword 'website submission'
in your search.

Submit to the directories:
Search engines and
directories are different. Do not mix them up. Be very careful while
submitting your website to a directory. Read the directory's submission
directions with full presence of mind. You can submit to directories
like DMOZ and also paid directories like Yahoo. Use 'web directory
submission' in search.

Regular inspection of website:
Once you achieve
targeted page ranks and positions in search engine, don't become lousy;
after all it is not forever. You should keep an eye on your contenders'
activities. If you are not satisfied with search engine ranking
results, you should optimize your website more to attain higher search
engines ranking position.

This was brief description for optimizing websites. Very soon I am
going to publish an informative series of articles on each of these key
factors at seoservices-website-promotion.blogspot.com.

If You're Not Linking You're Losing Money By: Robin Henry

If you have a web site and you're not actively linking to other
relevant sites, you're losing a great opportunity to improve your link
popularity, get targeted traffic and increase your income. Read on to
find out why.

Why Link?
There are only a few ways you can generate traffic to your site. You
can pay someone to generate leads, but you have no way of knowing
whether your visitors are interested in your product, service or
message. Some organisations that promise thousands of visits to your
site deliver the goods, but the problem is, the people who visit aren't
targeted to match your product, service or message.

You can advertise on or offline to generate leads, you can wait and
watch and hope someone finds your site among the many millions, or you
can actively generate traffic yourself.

If you create links to other sites with high traffic, some of the
people who visit those sites will click on links and visit your site.
Let's face it, if no-one visits your site, the chances of selling
something or getting your message read, are minimal. So, creating
targeted visitors should be one of your key priorities. By targeted
visitors I mean people who have bought a similar product or service to
yours, or who are predisposed to do so. Consider this example. I sell
an ebook titled, "Winning That Government Job" which, as the title
suggests, helps job seekers to understand the government recruitment
and selection process so they can be competitive when applying.

If I advertise in the employment pages of the Saturday morning
newspaper in Sydney (the most populous Australian city) it will cost me
$200 for one edition. I usually generate several dozen sales, but as
soon as I stop advertising, the sales drop off.

If I link with another organisation having something to do with job
seekers, numbers of their visitors visit my site and buy my
publication. It costs much less than successive $200 adverts. Imagine
what happens when I link to a dozen similar sites? I think you can see
the benefit of linking.

Making Links
When I began linking I would place a keyword in a search engine and
then look for sites that were suitable to exchange links. I'd find
several sites, email them and occasionally get a response. I tried to
find link partners for whom my products and services were complementary
- so they could add value for their clients while doing me a good turn.

The process worked, but I had to spend an inordinate amount of time
doing it, so I looked for a better way and couldn't believe my luck
when I found a software program designed specifically for this type of
activity. The program automates much of the process so, one evening per
week for about two or three hours, I work with it to find and contact
potential link partners.

Measuring Progress
At the end of every month I measure my site popularity, links, traffic
volume, sales, expenses to sales ratio, pay-for-click search engine
placements etc and compare statistics with the previous month. Slowly,
but surely, my site is getting a higher position in search engines and
I'm getting more referred traffic from sites with which I have
exchanged links.

Link management is a huge topic. If you'd like to read more and
download a free software program that will find out within minutes how
many sites are linked to yours, visit this page

Complete Guidance to Write & Optimize Press Release By: Allen Brown

Publicity is essential for a business, whether it is located at the
market centre or on internet. When a business has small or even no
promotion budget, "Press Release" is the optimum method to lure people.

Online press release can provide considerable platform to reach huge
online community. This article will provide complete guidance to make
out well optimize and well written press release for PR distribution
through the press release network. A well prepared press release would
attract journalists and is also well optimized for distribution to
targeted audience.

Proper keywords:
Selecting key word is the most
important part of press release optimization. Be very careful while
deciding on a keyword phrase that is pertinent to the product or
service you are offering. The best recommended tool to search keywords
is wordtracker.com.

Keyword or phrase position:
Place key phrase into
the headline and the title of your press release. Try to repeat it
nearly 2-3 times in the content of the release.

Starting should be solid:
Remember to make your
title and initial lines cover that you want to express. The remaining
part of your press release should depict the detailed information.

Use product name repetitively:
Repeat placements
of the name of your service or product to make it eminent. For example,
write "Search Engine Optimization" instead of writing "SEO", this would
make your product name much popular.

Draft it for Journalists/Media agencies:
The media
agencies and journalists would grab your press release and publish it
in their publications; they may slightly edit your press release.

Consider viewer's interest:
You should consider to
whom you are targeting your press release, and what is their interest.
Think, if you were a part of audience, would you like to read the press
release you have written.

Make your press release appear practical:
Point
out real facts of your company/organization, as readers are already so
scholar enough to find out 'what's true and what not'?

Make your story that includes real facts:
Avoid
untrue examples and add-ons. If you find the content using much added
extras, make it natural and real. Your press release should be in
active voice, not passive. Verbs in the active voice makes your press
release live.

Use only sufficient and essential words:
Avoid
using superfluous adjectives, extravagant language, or unnecessary
expressions like "The most powerful". Tell your story with lesser
words, as verbosity distracts from your content.

Avoid usage of terminology:
However, a limited use
of terminology would be allowed if required, if you aim to optimize
news release for internet search engines. The finest technique to
communicate your press release is to speak neatly, using regular
language.

Keep away from too many exclamations:
Too much
usage of exclamation point (!) may harm your press release. But, if you
have to use an exclamation point, use only one.

Get company permission:
Companies are very
self-protective about their recognition and credibility. So, get
written permission before putting in any information or quotes about
the company.

Company Information:
The press release should
include a short description of company, which depicts your company,
products, service and a brief history of company.

Pick precise PR distribution network:
Deciding on
press release distribution network is also an important. There are
hundreds of free press release distribution networks exist so it is
critical to select on whether to go for paid services or free.

Propose RSS feeds:
Assist journalists by offering
RSS feeds so that they haul to your website. Through this interested
parties will know that you have relevant releases on the topic for and
which they are searching for.

Publish releases often:
Try to publish press
releases frequently to be recognized as a news source for news agencies
such as Yahoo news and Google news.

How to Write Title Tags for Your Web Pages By: Donald Nelson

When it comes to search engine optimization, the single most important
sentence that you will write for your website is the title tag of your
main page. If you write it properly then you will have taken a big step
towards getting your site well placed in search engine queries for your
important keywords.

Before I give you a step-by-step guide to writing title tags,
let's define what they actually are and see why they are important.
When you look at a web page in your browser, the writing in the blue
strip above browser's commands (file, edit, view, etc.) is the title
tag. On your actual html document the title tag is in the head portion
between the notation <title> and </title> .

The title tag is important because it "tells" the search engine
what the page is about, and in the case of your main page, what your
website is all about. I remember back in my school days that we used to
take standardized examinations in which we had to read a story and then
answer the question: "What would be the best title for this essay?"
Choosing a title tag is something like answering this kind of question.
You've got to pick out the gist of your enterprise and highlight it in
a sentence. So, take a look at your web page and get ready to begin,
following these steps:

1.

Make sure your three or four most important keywords or
keyword phrases appear in the title tag. The most important words
should appear near the beginning of the sentence, and they can be
repeated within the sentence for added emphasis. For example, if I am
offering low-cost web design, then my title tag might look like this:
<title>Web Design: Affordable, Low Cost Web Design from the Acme
Web Design Company</title>

2.

Leave your branding and sales pitch for another part
of the web page. Although it is a natural tendency to want to put your
company name at the beginning of the title tag, you should remember
that unless you are very famous like Coca Cola, people are not
searching for you. So, put your most important keywords at the front of
the title tag, and establish your brand name with your logo and other
elements of the web page. If your company name includes your keywords,
like our hypothetical Acme Web Design Company, then put it in the title
tag, but not necessarily at the beginning.

Similarly, the title tag is no place for your sales pitch, so keep
out flowery or extraneous adjectives, unless they are actual terms used
in searches for your product or service.

3.

Place your geographical or niche-defining term in
your title tag. If you are trying for a top ten or top twenty position
for a term such as "web design," then you are really in for a difficult
struggle. However, suppose the Acme Web Design Company is located in
Columbus, Ohio. Then instead of attempting the almost impossible task
of getting the top rankings for the term "web design," it would be far
better to get a high ranking in the geographical niche using a title
tag such "Web Design, Columbus, Ohio: Low Cost Web Design in Columbus,
Ohio by The Acme Web Design Company"

4.

The title tag can be longer than you think. Some
guidelines say that the title tag should be no longer than 70
characters. It is true that only the first 70 characters will show in
the top bar of the browser, but search engine robots will read the rest
of the tag and the search engines will not penalize you for going over
the 70 character mark. Take a look at highly ranked sites in heavily
competitive categories and you will see examples of long title tags.
Write the tag according to your need to get your important words and
phrases included in a sentence that best describes what your product or
service is about.

5.

Vary the title tags on the inner pages of your
website. Even with a long title tag, it is not possible to highlight
all the possible terms which someone might use to find your website.
This is not a problem if you make use of the other pages of your
website. Instead of simply having a title tag that says "services" our
web design firm could highlight "low cost, web design services" on that
page. The "contact" page could be used to emphasize the geographical
location once again, and so on. Many websites make the mistake of
repeating the same title tag on each of the inner pages of the site.
Avoid this and use each of your page's titles to target important
keywords and keyword phrases.

So, take a look at your website's title tags, and see if you can improve them. The effort that you make will be well rewarded.

Meta tag optimization results in high search engine ranking By: James Day

I was compelled to publish this article after noticing several SEO
specialists writing in reference to meta tags being dead or obsolite.
Meta tags are not dead. I will be the first to say, meta tags are
utilized by all major search engines and are very much in use and
extremely important to search engine ranking. If you need proof of how
important meta tags are, try removing your meta tags and watch what
happens to your search engine positioning. Your site will plummet to
the depths of the unvisited web. Meta tags are frequently an overlooked
factor which can improve the ranking of most any website.

This is an example of how vital meta tags are to your webpage and to
your search engine ranking. Our website ranks #6 and #7 consistantly on
MSN for the keyword submit site. To test the dead meta tag theory, our
source code editor changed one word in the meta description tag and we
dropped to #15 in the search results. Our rankings on Google and
several other search engines suffered even more so. Needless to say we
made changes accordingly. All major search engines definitely utilize
meta tags for a description of the webpage and for indexing within the
search results.

The title tag is one of the most important on page factors to consider.
This is because search engine spiders read this tag first and place a
high level of importance on the keywords found there. The title tag is
also used for the title of your listing in the search results. The
contents of your title tag will also appear in the top left corner of
the browser bar. Correct title tag optimization is essiential and will
result in a dramatic increase in your search engine ranking. The title
tag should contain at least one or more keywords to be of any relevance
to the webpage.

Search engine spiders read the description meta tag next. This tag is
often used as a website description in the search results. The
description tag should also contain a few keywords. The keyword meta
tag is also vital to search engine ranking giving search engine spiders
a sample of relevant text and content within a webpage. Other meta tags
include robots, resource, author, copyright etc. These tags are not as
important as the title, description and keyword tag, however they
should be included if possible. To acheive high search engine ranking
optimize your meta data. Proper onpage optimization will greatly
improve your search engine placement.

How to Raise Your Rankings in Search Engines - Basic SEO By: Duane Jacobson

I don't know how many times I've been asked. "Many People ask How do I get traffic to my website?"

To best discuss this topic I should break this down into categories

1. Title Tags
The title Should contain keywords and keyword phrases that is important
to your site. Our recommended maximum number of characters for this tag
is 60.
Also when counting your characters remember that spaces are considered as well.
Titles should appeal to the reader otherwise even a top position will lose a lot of clicks.
For example, "shoes, nike shoes, best shoes, review shoes," is unlikely to induce a click. What may induce a click would be like:
Shoes - Find out the latest styles on name brand shoes.

2. Description
The maximum number of characters I recommend for this Tag is 150. Any
longer than this and it will only be cut off and may count against your
site being listed high in the search engines. Try to repeat your
keywords that you used in your title in a proper sentence and in 3rd
party. Advoid I, Me, Myself etc

3. Keywords
keywords My recommended maximum number of characters for this tag is
250. Any more than that may be considered spamming. Keep your keywords
focused upon what your site is about.
Don't think that if I use an assortment of different keywords that your
site will be a seller. Targeted marketing is associated with your
keywords.

4. Keyword Nesting
Description: A term used in searching to indicate the sequence in which operations are to be performed
Enclosing words in parentheses identifies a group or "nest." Groups can be within other groups.
The operations will be performed from the innermost nest to the outmost, and then from left to right.
keyword nesting is nesting your top 5 most important keywords in the
html page that the public will see. I would recommend using the
keywords that you've used in your title, description.

5. Head Tags not to be confused with (head) tags def.
HEAD or HEADER (of HTML document)
The top portion of the HTML source code behind Web pages, beginning
with and ending with . It contains the Title, Description, Keywords
fields and others that web page authors may use to describe the page.
The title appears in the title bar of most browsers, but the other
fields cannot be seen as part of the body of the page. To view the
portion of web pages in your browser, click VIEW, Page Source. In
Internet Explorer, click VIEW, Source. Some search engines will
retrieve based on text in these fields.
Head Tags should be a repeat of your title tag. Most webmasters put
their head tag right after the body tag. A head tag will look like this
(h1) (/h1) with the ( and ) being replaced with < >

6. Anchor Links
Anchor Links is one of the most important html tags that your site needs to gain search engine page rank
especially in google and msn.

Make Money on the Internet Using Affiliate Marketing By: Darin Kleb

For many website owners who do not have a product or service of their
own to sell, it can be hard to make money online. Sure, you could sell
advertising space, but unless you attract a large amount of traffic to
your site, nobody will pay you a pretty penny to have you advertise
their site. So, you dont have any product or service to sell and
advertising wont bring in an income worth celebrating over. What do you
do now? The solution is simple: Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate marketing is a simple concept and millions of websites rely
on affiliate marketing to bring in the bulk of their sales. Basically,
you try and sell other people's products for a commission. Commission
can be anywhere from 5 to 75 percent of the price of the product.
Generally speaking, your software, information products, and services
provide the highest rate of commission. It's easy finding products in
those categories that provide 50 to 75 percent commission!

The most effective way to convert your traffic to sales is to make sure
that the products and services you are advertising on your website
target your visitors. If your site deals with automobiles, trying to
market someone else's cook book will fail and if I could take a bet,
generate zero income.

Another helpful tip is to make sure your advertisement doesn't look
like an advertisement. People do not visit your site to pay any
attention to the banner ads placed everywhere. They visit your site for
information on what you provide. If your site deals with online dating,
write several reviews on different online dating services out there on
the Internet with links to the services.

So exactly how does this work? How do these people know that you are
the one responsible for the sales lead and not somebody else? When you
sign up as an affiliate for different products and services, you are
given a special link to place on your website. When one of your
visitors clicks your link, the website you are refering visitors to
knows that the visitor came from your site. Then, if the visitor
purchases that website's product or service, you are credited for the
sale and earn the commission.

When looking for a product to market as an affiliate, visit some
websites selling products or services that relate to your website's
information. Many of these sites will have affiliate programs and have
a link placed on their site with information on how you can sign up to
be an affiliate with them.

Affiliate marketing along with selling advertising on your website
(check out Google Adsense) is an amazing and very profitable way of
generating income for your site. It cost nothing and there is no
inventory to keep. It's all pure profit. What could be better?

Affiliate Marketing Success Secrets Revealed By: Balraj BaaLee

In affiliate marketing, you start selling other people's products
online. Every product owner will pay its affiliates a part of the
transaction which can amount to anything upto 75% of the cost of the
product. Most of the affiliates with the right tools and knowledge can
earn anything up to ten thousand dollars every month from affiliate
programs.

But a majority of the affiliates fail miserably in their affiliate
efforts or earn insignificant amount of money. Here are some of the
Secrets of Success in affiliate marketing:

Secret #1: Treat Affidavit Marketing as a Business

This way, you will be able to give more due and attention to your
campaigns. Market an affiliate product as if it were your own. Build a
business around it, pre-sell the product by having a pitch page of your
own, offer free stuff, follow up and have backend offers to maximize
profits from every product you promote. Following this cycle is the
Formula of Success in Affiliate Marketing.

Secret #2: Promote Quality Information Products

People are hungry for information. Every day, millions of people are
searching online for information. If you really want to make money
fast, then I highly recommend that you start selling information
products. These products are available for immediate download, have
high profit margins and affiliates earn high commissions. If you want
to search for information products, visit Clickbank.com, open an
account and enter ClickBank Marketplace.

Secret #3: Pick up the right products

Choose products that pay about 50% of the sales. Also look for %
referred for the product. Anything above 50% is a reasonably good
figure. You can search Top 10 products by category i.e. popularity,
gravity, $ earned/sale, % earned/sale and % referred.

It may work out that you have chosen a product, but there is very high
competition for that product which may force you to pay a very high CPC
price. You can chose products for which there is less competition but
you still have good chances of making good money as a lot of people are
searching for those keywords. Remember, this exercise will involve a
lot of home work by carrying out the market analysis. If you have time
to spare, 'https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal' can
help you to some extent. But I recommend Keyword Elite.

Secret #4: Know your Product

If you want to be successful in affiliate marketing, you have to know
the products you are promoting. One option is that you buy the product.
That will make your task of selling the product easier as you know the
product and so can easily convince the people to buy it.

If you don't want to buy the product, do a good research about the
product by going to merchant's site and know everything about it.
Giving your unbiased opinion or review is the best way to warm your
prospects up for better sales.

Secret #5: Create quality Ads

This task requires a lot of involvement and innovation on your part.
First you have to choose how to advertise your product. PPC advertising
is the best bet as your Ads are seen by only targeted visitors. Few
points you should keep in mind for while writing your Ads are:

1.	AdWords allow a limited amount of text in Ads. Hence 'brevity' is the keyword.

2.	The only way to stand out from the rest is to be different.

3.	Always pre-sell your product with your pitch page.

4.	Instill some sort of urgency in your prospects for buying in some limited time.

5.	Always bring out free offers if any.

Secret #6: Capture Leads First

Fewer than 5% of the people those see your Ads will buy the product on
the first visit. So what happens to the 95% or more who don't buy?

Another big mistake that people generally make is spending time and
money on advertising and send buyers directly to a product owner's
website.

The truth is...If you aren't capturing your visitor's name and email address, you're wasting your money on advertising.
For long-term success in affiliate marketing, you must build an opt-in
list of buyers...people who trust you and purchase the products you
recommend. You can sell multiple products to the same prospects and
maximize your advertising efforts. All you need is a simple pitch page
to capture leads and an autoresponder.

Secret #7: Offer a Strong Incentive

If you want people to opt in to your list, you have to give them a
strong incentive. If you can create a PDF report on a high-demand topic
that's actually good enough to sell and then give it away, people will
like to download it. But how much information you should give away in
your free product. Give your customers just sufficient information to
make them want more and then recommend a product that fulfills their
needs.

Secret #8: Track Your Ads

Tracking is critical for determining how well you're converting
visitors to leads and leads to sales. Sometimes you just need to tweak
your ad copy and run the ad again for better results. You may also like
to disable the keywords which are not converting.

You need to know how many visitors, leads and sales you get for each ad
you place so you can determine whether or not you want to keep using
that traffic source or discard it.

How To Achieve Higher CTR on Adwords/Adsense

If you hear about people achieving high payments
per click with AdSense, remember that's only part of the story. You
also need lots of page views and a high click-through rate.

Here are some ideas on how to achieve those three things:

* If you're starting afresh designing a site specifically for
AdSense revenue, you'll want a simple design that makes it easy to
paste Google's code into a horizontal or vertical space on the site.
For experienced webmasters, that's easy.

* To increase your click-throughs, design a simple, uncluttered page with the AdSense ads displayed prominently.

* Use white space, so that the AdSense panel catches the eye.

* Stick to only one topic per page – that should make it easier for Google to serve up highly relevant ads on your pages.

* Plain, bland pages with few competing hyperlinks should result in higher click-through rates on the AdSense ads.

* If you want to target certain high-priced keywords, use them in
the file name, in the heading on the page, and in the first paragraph –
in other words, use search engine optimization techniques.

* If you change those keywords, Google will change the ads that appear on your page.

* Watch out for cases where Google has guessed wrong, and is
displaying ads that won't interest your visitors. Figure out which
words are involved, and rewrite those words. Help Google by sticking
closely to the topic.

* Don't worry about losing traffic via those clicks. If you can
earn maybe 30 or 50 cents or more per click, you WANT to lose visitors!

* You'll also want keyword-rich pages, optimized to rank highly in search engines, so you can serve lots of pages.

* Where possible, use skyscraper ads, high on the page. They catch visitors' attention more than horizontal banner ads.

* One of the beautiful things about AdSense is that you can now
generate revenue from informational sites even if there are no obvious
related affiliate programs. With 100,000 advertisers, there's a good
chance that Google will find ads that match your pages, better than the
big ad networks can.

* Don't be tempted into trying to create thousands of spammy
computer-generated articles. Human beings review sites for AdSense.
Build useful, interesting sites. Google likes them.

Even More Tips

1. Have a look at the top 100 keywords on 7search. This will give
you a quick idea of keywords that people are willing to pay big money
for. You can also type phrases into the 7Search Keyword Suggestion
Tool. This is just step one of your keyword research. You'll want to
dig deeper.

2. At FindWhat pay-per-click search engine you can do a search for
any phrase and quickly see how much advertisers are paying per click.

3. If you have a Google AdWords account, you can experiment.
Pretend you are planning to advertise using different keywords, and see
how much you'd have to pay. That will give you a good indication of the
popularity of the keywords.

4. You can also experiment typing words into Overture's View Bids
Tool. Let's say you type in "asbestos cancer . The top three
advertisers often pay about $12 per click. So that would be an good
choice for a topic – provided you're a specialist on mesothelioma.

For "debt consolidation", the top two advertisers often pay more than $9 per click.

5. The Overture Keyword Bid Amounts Lookup Tool speeds up your
research at Overture. Type in a keyword and learn how much advertisers
are paying per click at Overture and also find out how many searches
were done on that keyword last month.

For "debt consolidation", the top two advertisers often pay more than $9 per click.

6. KeywordSleuth is a wonderful tool for very fast keyword
research. You can find hundreds or even thousands of keywords – or key
phrases – with just one click. It's fabulous to use if all you want is
to find an enormous number of related key phrases with one click – much
better than messing around with Overture. Try the free trial.

7. You can use Wordtracker to look for the 1,000 most popular
keywords. You can also use it to compile a useful list of keywords
relating to one topic. If you buy it for a day or a week, you can do a
lot of research in that time. There's a free trial, too.

8. The brainstorming and research tools in Site Build It! are my
favorite way to do research for keywords that are in high demand and
low supply.. SBI is a superb tool – actually, a suite of tools. It's an
all-in-one web hosting, site-building and web marketing tool. Type in a
keyword and SBI Manager will present you with dozens of profitable
keywords – ones with high demand and low supply. It can present them in
order of profitability. Drill down, and you'll get dozens more
profitable keywords.

It also has an "Analyze it" tool that helps you build keyword-rich
pages that rank highly in search engines. It's simply superb. I use it
and love it. Site Build It! is an excellent choice for quickly building
large, simple sites designed to rank highly in search engines – which
makes it perfect for generating lots of AdSense revenue. Check it out.

My Site is Rejected From Adsense

Of course, if your site is rejected, it doesn't mean it is poorly developed. There may be other reasons. See below:

1. Is your site an "About Me" page? Google does not accept these
kinds of personal sites because most of them do not have a specific
topic. They are usually just random facts about the web site owner. It
would be difficult for Google's technology to display targeted ads on
these kinds of pages.

They are looking for sites that contain a generous amount of
information on a certain topic. It could be anything from golfing tips
to hair care techniques. Just make sure there is an obvious theme with
original content.

2. Is your site organized? Be sure your site has a neat and clean
navigation that's easy to follow. Also ensure all the links work and
that there are no typos. Keep the colors to a minimum and make sure
each page has a consistent layout.

3. How many pages are on your site? Even though Google doesn't
specify a page number requirement, they are obviously looking for web
sites with a decent amount of content. Again, it's not likely a
two-page site will get accepted. Try to strive for at least 20 pages.

4. Is your content solid? Don't just submit a web site with a bunch
of links to other sites. Be sure you have enough original content of
your own to make your site unique.

5. Be sure to read the program policy and procedures carefully and make sure your site hasn't violated any of the terms.
